c. 1908-1922; Porzellanfabrik Thomas & Ens – Marktredwitz, Bavaria, Germany Delicate set of five porcelain plates decorated with a soft hand-painted floral vine motif along the rim. Each plate features small pink blossoms with yellow centers and pale green leaves connected by a slender brown vine that winds around the border. The design floats against a warm ivory ground and is finished with a thin gilt rim. The backs bear the blue underglaze Thomas Bavaria shield mark used by Porzellanfabrik Thomas & Ens in Marktredwitz during the early twentieth century. Founded in 1904 by Fritz Thomas and later incorporated into the Rosenthal group, the company became known for producing finely finished porcelain for both domestic and export markets.
Shows light age-related wear including minor gilt loss along the rims and faint staining or discoloration in a few areas visible in the photos. No major chips or cracks observed.
