Description

C-19035

White enamelware mixing bowl with red rim paired with a blue-rimmed enamel funnel. The bowl features a wide, shallow profile with rolled lip and contrasting red band along the edge, while the funnel is finished in white enamel with a cobalt blue rim and side handle. Both pieces exhibit classic utilitarian form associated with farmhouse and kitchen prep use-durable, easy to clean, and built for daily function. Enamelware of this type was widely used in American kitchens for mixing, washing produce, canning, and general food preparation. The bright rim accents add subtle color to otherwise straightforward, purpose-built forms. The funnel’s tapered spout and handle suggest use in canning or transferring liquids into bottles and jars.

Both pieces show chips and wear to the enamel consistent with age and kitchen use, including exposed metal at the rim and light interior discoloration. Structurally sound and display well together.
