c. 1950s/1960s; Cameo Corp. – Chicago, IL Pair of molded Bakelite shaker containers produced for powdered household cleanser, not for culinary use. Each cylindrical shaker features a screw-on perforated cap and molded body decorated with the Cameo company logo, depicted as a classical bust in profile. The design reflects mid-century domestic packaging intended for kitchen and household cleaning applications, combining durable early plastic construction with branded visual identity. The Cameo Corporation of Chicago was known for producing household and personal care products throughout the mid-20th century, with the classical cameo bust serving as a long-standing brand emblem across their product lines.
Both examples are "new old stock, " showing no evidence of use. Minor age-related surface handling marks may be present from storage.
