c. 1970s/1980s; F. B. Rogers Silver Co. – Taunton, MA Silverplate table warmer consisting of a wide open bowl supported above a small removable candle cup, joined by a central stem and flanked by three scrolling supports terminating in pad feet. The upper vessel features opposing decorative handles and is pierced at the base to allow heat transfer from the candle below. Designed to keep contents warm at the table, the form aligns with late 20th-century revival serving pieces inspired by earlier chafing dishes and spirit warmers, executed in modern silverplate. F. B. Rogers Silver Co. was an American silverplate manufacturer based in Taunton, Massachusetts, producing decorative and functional hollowware throughout the 20th century, particularly for the home entertaining and giftware market.
Shows heavy tarnish throughout with surface spotting, oxidation, and wear consistent with age and use. Candle cup present. No dents or structural damage observed.
